Synopsis

Push the depth of a given snapshot from the Undo stack on the current stack

Description

The STKDEPTH command retrieves the depth of a given snapshot on the Undo stack and pushes it on the current stack.

The command has little utility in interactive mode, since each time a command is typed and XEQted a snapshot of the stack is pushed on the Undo stack, altering the position of the intended snapshot.

Compatibility

This command is new in newRPL and does not exist in userRPL.

Usage

The following program

« CLEAR
  123

  789
  STKPUSH
  CLEAR
  "ABC"
  STKPUSH
  CLEAR
  2 STKDEPTH
»

will push the number 3 on the stack, since the snapshot on level 2 of the Undo stack has 3 elements in it.
